1. Introduction

Daeyla LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates NCLEX Simulator. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our Service.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your full name and email address. We do not collect phone numbers, physical addresses, or government-issued identification.

Usage data: We collect data about your exam simulations, including questions answered, responses given, pass/fail results, performance analytics, and timestamps. This data is used to provide your results dashboard and readiness indicators.

Payment information: Payment processing is handled by Stripe and Apple. We do not store your credit card number, bank account details, or other financial information on our servers. We store a Stripe customer ID to manage your subscription.

Device information: We collect basic device information including screen width (to enforce the desktop-only exam requirement) and platform type (web, iOS, Android).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: provide and operate the Service; manage your account and subscription; deliver exam simulations and performance analytics; process payments through Stripe or Apple; communicate with you about your account; improve the Service and develop new features; comply with legal obligations.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore (Firebase) with industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication. We use security rules to ensure users can only access their own data. All API calls are authenticated using Firebase ID tokens.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We share data only with: Firebase (Google Cloud) for data storage and authentication; Stripe for payment processing; Apple for In-App Purchase processing. These providers process data solely to deliver their services and are bound by their own privacy policies.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data and exam history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data, exam sessions, and performance history are permanently deleted from our systems. Anonymized, aggregated usage statistics may be retained for product improvement.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to: access your personal data through the app's Settings and Results screens; correct your account information through the app; delete your account and all associated data through the Settings screen; export your exam results by viewing them in the app; opt out of non-essential communications.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly.

9. Cookies and Tracking

The web version of the Service uses Firebase Authentication tokens stored in the browser to maintain your login session. We do not use third-party tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or analytics trackers.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the app or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
